President’s Message
The RI theme this year is, “The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands”. With the current challenges of economy, a strong membership is crucial to the future of our club. As president of the Peabody Rotary Club, I will guide our focus this year on engaging our membership in several community service projects to enhance the community that we live and work in.
Many of our club members have stepped up to lead in various projects and activities that align with the RI President, John Kenny’s focus on health, hunger, water, and literacy. Service above self will continue to be our strength as we face the challenge of recruiting new members.
If you are visiting our site and are unfamiliar with Rotary please feel free to contact us, or better yet, come to one of our breakfast meetings as our guest. Our meetings are held at the Peabody Marriott on Thursday mornings at 7:30am. I guarantee you will be entertained and excited about Rotary before you are done.
I look forward to a year of exciting projects, successful fundraisers, membership growth and the celebration of our club’s 90th year in March. Thank you for your support!
