Friday, April 6th- Haven from Hunger Team Assignments: Arrive by NLT , by 4:15 P.M. would be great, at 71 Wallis St., Peabody.           
 Anders Nilsson(Meal Pickup).
Steve Morad(salad), Paul Peicott(cookies)

If you are unable to attend on the specified date, it is your responsibility to locate a replacement. Please inform the meal pickup person (Chief Entree Officer) of the change and the replacement of your assigned responsibility. Thanks.  Look at NEWS and Haven Team Assignments for the future schedule. Please check out new assignments. Peg handed out hard copy at meeting.

  *President Elect Steve Morad conducted the meeting .

*Peg reported that her, Grace and Fred attended the weekend PETS meeting. Grace will give a full report next week.

* Peg asked if there was anyone interested in the District Assembly on April 4th. several people from the club are attending.

*Tom Rowen read a letter from Mel about how much he enjoyed the Taste. Tom also asked everyone to comment on what they would like to see changed about the event for next year.

* Many commented on the great food & great venue. Some of the things mentioned to possibly change for next year were:Have bid paddles/sponsorships on paddles:organize Rotary volunteers:Print tickets early mid-Nov:Sound system adjustment:Have Peabody High Jazz band or choirs, Culinary Arts group: Front check in better set up:More prizes.

*Peg Lyons from the Peabody/Lynnfield YMCA was Peg Pedro's guest today and is a prospective new member.

*Loring reported that the event raised about $17,000.

 

**Dates to Remember**

* April 4th is the District Assembly. Learn more about Rotary and what we do. It is at the Ferncroft from 4-10pm. Let Grace know if you want to attend.

*March 20th there is a dinner at Cafe Escadrille in Burlington. It begins at 6pm. Tickets are available.

*March 27th meeting will be held at Toscano's*

     Happy Dollars and 50/50 Raffle:

Happy or Unhappy Dollars!   Jeff collected  $48.  Happy Dollars at the meeting. The 50/50,  total is about $115. -  The winning card is the Eight of Clubs. Neither Gayle nor Saro won.
