2006 Library Fundraiser

Past President Peggy Pedro presents Martha Holden with a plaque at the new Adult Reading Space in the Peabody Institute Library. This new space, comprised of six confortable chairs and three tables, was donated to the Main Library by the Peabody Rotary in the summer of 2006 as part of the Rotary literacy initiative. The new chairs and quiet atmosphere encourage people to sit and read awhile at the library. The Adult Reading Area is located on the Main Floor and is wireless accessible.
